Davante Adams: Las Vegas Raiders star receiver requests trade, per multiple reports | CNNWhat Jets Could Give Up In Potential Davante Adams Deal

The Las Vegas Raiders are about to lose their best offensive player — and arguably best player.

Davante Adams has requested to be traded away.

Some reports state that he’s looking forward to a reunion with one of his former quarterbacks, whether it’s Derek Carr or Aaron Rodgers.

Unsurprisingly, the New York Jets are expected to be very interested in the All-Pro wide receiver, even though poor WR play isn’t the reason behind their struggles.

With that in mind, ESPN insider Adam Schefter revealed the assets they could potentially give up for him.

On top of two third and sixth-round picks in the 2025 NFL Draft, Schefter pointed out that the Raiders could be interested in WR Mike Williams, whom Raiders GM Tom Telesco drafted and later extended when he was in charge of the Los Angeles Chargers.

Adams has been a rumored trade target for the Jets since they acquired Aaron Rodgers last season.

However, despite the never-ending speculation, Adams repeatedly stated that he was happy in Sin City and didn’t want to be traded.

The Jets’ issues run way deeper than the wide receiver position.

Nathaniel Hackett’s play-calling on offense has been rather questionable.

Granted, adding Adams would make any offense better, and we already know what he’s capable of when Rodgers is his quarterback.

Still, the team must be cautious not to give up most of their valuable assets to get a veteran player, especially with all the uncertainty about the post-Rodgers era.

Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby missed a game for the first time in his career last week. He doesn’t plan to miss another.

Crosby expects to play today against the Broncos, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Officially, Crosby is questionable with an ankle injury.

The presence of Crosby should make life difficult for Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix, who managed to get a win last week despite a historically bad passing performance.

Crosby was playing well to start the season, with three sacks in the first two games before he was injured in Week Three.
