Free agent who left Luton Town finds new EFL club following Stoke City trial
Wycombe Wanderers have signed Fred Onyedinma following his exit from Luton Town, as announced by their official club website.
Wycombe Wanderers have managed to re-sign the winger on a free transfer.
Onyedinma, 27, cut ties with Luton Town at the end of last season and has been weighing up his options as a free agent. He has recently bee on trial with Championship side Stoke City, as per a report by StokeOnTrentLive.
He has now gone back to the Chairboys and their boss Matt Bloomfield has told their website: “Fred has been one of the stand-out performers in each of his three previous spells with Wycombe and we’re delighted that he’s agreed to come back and be part of the exciting squad that we are building here.
“Playing Premier League football last year was the reward for the hard work he’s put in throughout his career at all four levels, and demonstrates the quality he has in a number of different positions, either as a wing-back or a winger on either side of the pitch.
“He’s someone we’ve been keen to sign throughout the summer and I know there have been various options available to him, but for him to choose Wycombe Wanderers speaks volumes for the relationship he has with the club and its fans, and also his determination to help this club grow.”

Onyedinma will be pleased to have sorted a move now and he can finally kick on now and get some game time.
The Hatters were then relegated from the Premier League along with Burnley and Sheffield United and decided to release him.
Onyedinma started his career at Millwall and rose up through the academy ranks at The Den.
