The 21-year-old had a short loan spell at Kidderminster Harriers last season, making four appearances. He is also a one-time Wales under-21 international, and made his debut for them in March 2023.

Defender Kandola meanwhile has seen a 13-year association with the club come to an end. He graduated to the under-21s team from the under-18s, and departs having made a combined 77 appearances for the under-18 and under-21s team.

Right-winger Ethan McLeod is another long-serving member of the academy to depart. The 20-year-old joined as an under-27, but will now seek pastures new. He played 10 times for the under-21s last season, and also had a loan spell with Alvechurch.

Central midfielder Mason Rees has also departed. The 18-year-old had a brief loan spell at Rushall Olympic, and was a prominent member of the under-18s team. Rees was at the club from the age of nine-years old, and played for the under-18s team whilst he was still in school. He was the captain of the under-18s team, before graduating in to the under-21s set up last season.

Returning from their Euro 2024 campaign, Portugal were back in action in the Nations League on Thursday night as they took on Croatia.

While Nelson Semedo did not start, he did come off the bench at half-time as his country won the game 2-1.

SofaScore believes the right-back put in a solid performance, making two tackles and one key pass. However, he also lost possession three times and was dribbled past twice. As a result, he was awarded a 6.7 rating.
