Wrexham host Shrewsbury Town in League One this weekend as cross-border rivals meet at the Racecourse Ground.
Wrexham come into the clash with Shrewsbury Town looking to continue their strong start to life in League One after promotion last time around.
As for Shrewsbury Town, they’ll be hoping to build on a strong first win of the campaign last weekend. They defeated fellow early strugglers Leyton Orient on home turf with a Leo Castledine goal and a Tom Bloxham brace securing a 3-0 victory, lifting them to 20th in the League One table.
Paul Hurst’s side had been beaten in all three games prior, so it came as a welcome morale boost.
There’s no doubt they’ll be up against it away to Wrexham here though. They’ll be keen to take confidence from their recent win to pull off a surprise result.
