Clark has been a fantastic addition to the Fever during her WNBA rookie season. WNBA Draft and currently averages 18.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and a league-leading 8.3 assists. Clark’s chemistry with her teammates has been evident as they’ve been seen sharing laughs and having fun while winning. Clark praised Hull’s recent play in a press conference ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Dallas Wings. “Obviously, Lexie has been tremendous, especially on the defensive end,” Clark said. “She just brings a spark and a tenacity about her
that, you know, maybe we weren’t always getting on the defensive end. And she’s just willing to do whatever it takes for this team, and it’s helped our defense improve a lot.” Clark then got into what the coaches have been looking to improve upon: “I think offensively and defensively, we’ve taken a step forward. And you know that’s kind of what the coaches challenged us in going into that break too,” she stated.
