How much Liverpool are about to bid for Juventus winger Federico Chiesa with deal ‘close’
The Federico Chiesa to Liverpool transfer is gaining pace.
Arne Slot finally completed his first signing as Reds boss on Tuesday. Liverpool announced that Giorgi Mamardashvili has joined the club, but he will spend this season at Valencia.

Liverpool are about to make their first offer to sign Federico Chiesa
Chiesa has suddenly emerged as a target for Liverpool in the final days of this summer’s transfer window.
The Reds are actually in need of a new midfielder and they could do with some help at the back as well. However, Slot has decided that a new forward is the way to go.
Liverpool are pushing to sign Chiesa, and reports have revealed that talks between the two clubs to strike a deal are already underway.
Chiesa’s agent and Juventus’ sporting director have met to work on his transfer to Liverpool as well, so all signs are positive.
Now, Mirko Di Natale, a journalist for Tutto Juve, has revealed what he has heard about the transfer on Wednesday morning.
He has claimed that Liverpool’s first offer for Chiesa will be an initial €10 million plus €2 million (£8.4m+£1.7m) in future add-ons. Juventus were actually demanding €15 million (£12.6m) for their attacker.
However, Di Natale claims that the deal could close right after Liverpool make their first bid.
After confirming the meeting between Chiesa’s agent and the Juventus director, Di Natale tweeted: “Liverpool, as anticipated in the last few days by Fabrizio Romano, has surpassed Barcelona (who failed to free up salary space) and are now in pole position for Federico Chiesa.
“The request of Juventus has always been €15 million. My news is that the Reds’ offer will be €12 million including bonuses (10+2). It could close at these figures.”
