Attacker who is faster than Vinicius Jr would now happily sign for Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur are searching for a new striker this summer as they look to replace Harry Kane one year on from his move to Bayern Munich.

Spurs have the unenviable task of trying to replace the England captain, and there’s a real chance that they could sign another England international to take Kane’s place.

Ivan Toney has been strongly linked with a move to Spurs, but now, there’s another Englishman Ange Postecoglou is looking at.

Indeed, according to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs are very keen on Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke.

The Cherries’ striker is coming off the back of an incredible season, and Spurs are said to be keen on bringing him to north London.

Interestingly, it is now being claimed that Solanke is open to the move to Spurs.

Dominic Solanke open to Tottenham move
According to GiveMeSport, Dominic Solanke is now open to joining Tottenham.

This report claims that Ange Postecoglou is driving this move to sign the striker, and it’s not hard to understand why.

Indeed, Solanke has it all, and, in many ways, he’s absolutely perfect for the way Ange Postecoglou wants to play.

Solanke may be the ideal striker signing for Spurs.

Indeed, the Bournemouth star is a unique combination of almost everything Spurs have been lacking in their frontline.

He’s a clinical finisher having almost hit 20 league goals last season, he’s brilliant at dropping deep and linking play, while he’s also such a hard worker when it comes to pressing.

Solanke is also very underestimated in terms of his speed.

According to the Premier League’s stats, Solanke, at one point, was the fastest player in the Premier League, clocking a top speed of 36.2 km/h. For reference, that is slightly higher than Vinicius Jr’s top speed.

Spurs would be making a very wise move if they were to sign Solanke, and, by the sounds of it, the player is very keen to join the north London club.

This could be one of the signings of the summer if Spurs get this one over the line.
