Crystal Palace look to agree fee for Ismaila Sarr.

Crystal Palace are looking to agree a fee with Marseille to sign Ismaila Sarr in the summer transfer window.

The Eagles have already made two signings and aim to bring the Watford player to Selhurst Park this summer.

According to a report from The Athletic, Palace have already agreed personal terms in principle with the 26-year-old winger, who joined Marseille from Watford a year ago.

He is one of the players who will be allowed to leave the French club and Crystal Palace are looking to reach an agreement with Marseille to secure his signature.

Fabrizio Romano reported on X (22 July) that Palace are negotiating a deal with Sarr.

The Athletic claims that the negotiations between the two clubs are still ongoing, but they are currently poles apart on their valuation of the winger.

Palace have already signed defender Chadi Riad, who joined from Real Betis, and Japan international midfielder Daichi Kamada following his exit from Lazio.

Ismaila Sarr could replace Michael Olise at Crystal Palace
Oliver Glasner is looking to bolster the attacking department in the summer after losing Michael Olise who joined Bayern Munich.

The Eagles need a natural winger and Sarr has been earmarked as a potential option. Palace have long-standing interest in the player, and it does not come as a surprise that they are looking to secure a deal for him.

Moreover, he has loads of Premier League experience having scored 34 goals across four seasons at Vicarage Road prior to joining Marseille last summer.

His move to France did not go according to the plans. He scored four goals across 35 appearances across all competitions last season, but it appears that he could be allowed to leave following Roberto De Zerbi’s appointment as Marseille head coach.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi wants to leave Crystal Palace for Southampton.
