Lloyd Evans can bring the best out of Will Reed at Dragons.

THERE will be a proper battle for the Dragons’ 10 jersey this season, and that will be music to Will Reed’s ears.

WOODMAN’S MEN EDGED OUT IN STELLENBOSCH

A hat-trick by Macs Page proved in vain as Australia won the fifth-place semi-final of the U20 World Championship with a 36-29 victory against Wales in Stellenbosch.

Jordan Morris, Nick Thomas and captain Ryan Woodman all started from Dragons RFC while Harri Ford was a replacement.

Page went over for three of the five tries Wales scored but it wasn’t enough as the Junior Wallabies raced over for five of their own to march into the fifth-place final where they will face Argentina.

Richard Whiffin’s side will now face South Africa in the battle for seventh position on Friday (July 19).
