Dodgers All-Star Game facts & figures: Players lineup history & more.

The 2024 MLB All-Star Game is here, to be played on Tuesday night at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas (5 p.m. PT, Fox)

Six Dodgers made the All-Star roster for the National League, and four are active. Two players are starting for the NL — Shohei Ohtani bats second as the designated hitter, and Teoscar Hernández bats seventh in center field, a position he’s played 110 games and 819⅓ innings in his career, but not since September 3, 2021, while with the Blue Jays.

Hernández had quite a busy Monday, outlasting Bobby Witt Jr. in the finals to win the Home Run Derby, the first Dodgers player to ever win the event.

Freddie Freeman and Will Smith are on the NL roster as reserves.

Tyler Glasnow made his first All-Star team, and made the trip to Texas, and was part of Hernández’s hype team during breaks and at the end of the Home Run Derby on Monday. Mookie Betts made his eighth All-Star team, but did not make the trip.
