Corey Seager the World Series MVP playing for the Texas Rangers has been included in the AL All-Star roster to replace the injured Carlos Correa.

Corey Seager, who has won the World Series MVP twice, has been selected to join the American League All-Star team in place of injured Minnesota shortstop Carlos Correa. This adds a third player from the host Texas Rangers to Tuesday night’s game lineup.

Correa missed Minnesota’s recent game due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot, as revealed by an MRI. Despite this, Correa plans to participate in the All-Star events in Arlington, Texas.
