Manager drops huge Nottingham Forest transfer hint after Coventry City talks.
Latest Coventry City news from CoventryLive amid transfer links with defender Joe Worrall.
Nuno Espirito Santo has given an update on Joe Worrall’s Nottingham Forest future amid links with a transfer to Coventry City.
The centre-back is back with the Reds after a loan at Turkish giants Besiktas and started their first pre-season friendly against Chesterfield on Saturday. He played the opening 45 minutes of the 3-0 win, but perhaps significantly didn’t wear the captain’s armband.
Speaking after Forest’s friendly against the Spireites, Nuno was asked where players returning to the club from loans stand, and he said: “They are our players.
“We are taking care of them, because they are part of the club. We will embrace them and prepare them, then we will make decisions.
“We still have a long way to go. We have to take a good look at all of the aspects and decide what is best for them and their careers. We are really careful with those situations.”
