Everton ready double new transfer at Goodison Park
Although many fans will likely not want Onana to leave, in the grand scheme of things, it’s a good thing that he is nearing an exit.
The 22-year-old’s transfer to Villa was only made known this morning, however, it seems as if moves have been made quickly as he’s already agreed terms [Ben Jacobs, 13 July].
£50million is a brilliant fee and it should allow Kevin Thelwell and Sean Dyche the funds to target bigger names themselves after a good end to the financial year too.
Reinforcements have already been made in terms of the attack with Iliman Ndiaye arriving, with Tim Iroegbunam a potential replacement for Onana.
This influx of cash will no doubt keep the transfers rolling, and the revolving doors at Goodison Park look set to be very busy before the start of the new season.
