Simone Biles Reveals Bears Will Allow Husband to Skip Training Camp For OlympicsSimone Biles has made her third Olympic games, and the famed gymnast will head to Paris to attempt to once again capture gold for Team USA. Though many gymnastics fans are well-aware of her impressive resume, she has also become well-known in the NFL world.
Biles is married to Jonathan Owens, a defensive end who plays for the Chicago Bears. During Owens and Biles’ courtship, she was often shown attending his games when he played for the Houston Texans and Green Bay Packers.
With their relationship warming the hearts of sports fans worldwide, the gymnast has revealed that the Bears are granting Owens a special training camp exclusion so that he can root his wife on at the Olympics.
Biles revealed the news that her husband would be allowed to see her compete, while speaking with USA Today’s Nancy Armour. According to Biles, “The Bears are actually granting him a couple of days off from training camp, so he’ll be there, yes. For just a short little time.”
This will be the first time that Owens is allowed to see Biles compete, and not because he has been granted a special pass to skip a little of training camp. Back during the 2021 Olympis, strict COVID-19 restrictions did not allow for additional people to attend the event.
