Cole Kmet Reveals What He Seen From
Along with the Bears being featured on the next season of HBO’s Hard Knocks, where everyone will get a behind-the-scenes look at the rookie quarterback and will likely start to receive a fair amount of criticism, few players in the league will be under more pressure than the 22-year-old.
Only time will tell if the Bears got the real deal in Williams, as it will likely take a year or two before Chicago knows what they have with the young quarterback leading the way for the storied franchise.
After decades of mediocre quarterbacks coming and going, the Chicago Bears finally got the ideal opportunity to bring in a potential game-changer in the form of former USC superstar Caleb Williams, with the team taking him with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Although Williams has yet to take a snap in the NFL in a Bears uniform, many believe the storied franchise has found a legitimate NFL superstar to lead their team for the foreseeable future, as many have sung his praises since he officially became a professional
Despite the constant praise that Williams has received from a number of current and former players, the young quarterback has a lot to prove when his stint with the Bears officially begins in September.
Fortunately for Williams, he already seems to be winning over his teammates, like tight end Cole Kmet, who seems to think the team’s new starting quarterback is a humble and normal guy via SiriusXM NFL Radio.
“He’s really just a normal dude..,” Kmet said.
