Burnley Aware Fulham Have Edge In Race To Sign Winger after the deal was reached pending arrivals

Burnley are aware that they are trailing behind Fulham in their pursuit of winger Jacob Bruun Larsen this summer, according to journalist Alan Nixon.

Burnley signed the winger from Hoffenheim last summer on a season-long loan deal and he made 32 Premier League appearances in the previous campaign.

Bruun Larsen impressed despite Burnley getting relegated from the top flight and the club have been keen to re-sign him in the ongoing transfer window.

However, Burnley are facing Premier League competition from Fulham in the race to land the Denmark winger.

It has been claimed that Burnley are aware of the fact that they are not the favourites to sign Bruun Larsen in the ongoing window.

They acknowledge that Fulham have their noses ahead in the chase to land him this summer.

Fulham are offering Bruun Larsen Premier League football while Burnley will be in another fight to get back to the Premier League next season.

Burnley are also still to bring in a new manager to replace Vincent Kompany who joined Bayern Munich in the summer.

Crystal Palace have recently been in contact with Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa to check whether he is open to a move to Selhurst Park this summer.

Nusa was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in the winter window when several clubs were interested in signing him.

Brentford agreed on a deal with Club Brugge, but backed out of signing him after discovering issues with his knee after he underwent a medical.

The winger is again back on the trail of Premier League clubs and he is now wanted at Crystal Palace this summer.

Crystal Palace have touched base with Nusa and his entourage to check whether he would be open to a move, according to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri.

Palace are looking to bring in a replacement for Bayern Munich-bound Michael Olise in the ongoing transfer window.

Arsenal 'very interested' in signing superb Liverpool target; he rejected Chelsea this summer

Nusa has emerged as the top target for the club and they are now putting in the legwork required to try and get a deal done.

However, they are yet to table an offer with Club Brugge and will likely face competition from German champions Bayer Leverkusen for his signature.

It is well-documented that Newcastle have the richest owners in the Premier League, but Financial Fair Play (FFP) and Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) have handcuffed them to spend how they wish.

You could argue that during the time Eddie Howe has been at the club, a large percentage of his signings have worked out really well and there aren’t many bad eggs.

Lloyd Kelly has been the recent addition to the squad after he left Bournemouth, whilst they missed out on Tosin Adarabioyo, who decided to join Chelsea.

And now there is talk of a striker possibly coming in, with the rumour mill jumping up and down of late.

Crystal Palace in the EFL: Remember Darren Ambrose? Here's what he's up to nowadays

Sources told HITC that Newcastle are keen on signing Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin after he scored seven Premier League goals last term.

Darren Ambrose was unsure about this possible deal because he highlighted how Calvert-Lewin replacing Callum Wilson is just bringing in one injury-prone player for another.

The only big plus side on Calvert-Lewin’s side is that he is 27 and Wilson is 32, so it would make sense, in that regard.
