How Alabama Coaches Since “Bear” Bryant Retired Fared In Their First Season

Football Recruiting: Alabama Trending for Commitments

The Crimson Tide look to add on to the Class of 2025.

Alabama football just completed a big weekend of hosting Official Visitors for the Class of 2025 ahead of the Dead Period. The Crimson Tide did get one commitment in 4-star OL Micah DeBose (Vigor/Mobile, AL), which he announced during a recruiting event on Saturday.

Big props go out to freshman WR Ryan Williams for orchestrating this announcement.

While Bama only got one commit over the weekend, several other recruits are trending the crimson and white way.

CB DIJON LEE, Mission Viejo, CA (6’4”/190)

Top 50 prospect Dijon Lee was on his OV this weekend. It was his third visit to Tuscaloosa since mid-March. The big cornerback reunited with fellow Orange County, CA natives DBs Zabien Brown and Domani Jackson (pictured above) during his trip.

Alabama already looked the best bet for Lee’s signature heading into the weekend. Since Sunday, several crootniks including Andrew Bone and Steve Wiltfong have logged predictions for the Tide. He is expected to announce his decision on June 28.

OL TY HAYWOOD, Denton, TX (6’5”/297)

Ty Haywood had an OV to Tuscaloosa on May 31. That visit must have stuck with him because he is now suddenly trending towards the Crimson Tide. This news comes despite him having an OV to Florida State this past weekend. Oklahoma had been a longtime leader. Haywood cancelled a trip to Norman that was originally set for June 14 and did not reschedule.

On Sunday, Wiltfong and Chad Simmons put in predictions for the 5-star OT to sign with Bama.
