As The Negotiations Process is still on the £25m gem who plays like Neymar set to Join Selhurst Park this summer
Crystal Palace look increasingly likely to need a Michael Olise replacement, and in this case, the club must look no further.
For Crystal Palace reports around Michael Olise will be concerning, with Chelsea now sounding increasingly confident of signing the talented Frenchman.
Meanwhile, it could be assumed that by making a decision on Erik ten Hag’s future, Manchester United also take action on their substantial interest in Olise and we see a bid made from that team too.
With a release clause, there’s little that the Eagles can do to make Olise remain at Selhurst Park should he want a move and the bid comes in.
In this event, or even if Olise stays, Oliver Glasner will need reinforcements at the club in the attacking positions. So Dougie Freedman should look no further than signing this wonderkid.
Crystal Palace should be front of the queue to sign Antonio Nusa
Even without selling a big forward this summer, signing a new star for the position is something we should welcome. This is because, without Olise and Eberechi Eze, the Eagles will be relying on players who aren’t really of the desired standard.
Recent rumours from TPW have indicated that Palace may be keen on Club Brugge’s Antonio Nusa this summer in a move which could cost as much as £25m, a figure Brentford agreed to in January.
The talented 19-year-old would be an excellent coup and statement of intent from the club, considering the winger is a target for clubs in European football such as Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea.
Because Nusa has unrivalled potential and is one of Norway and Europe’s finest talents, he’d be a welcome arrival with or without the sale of Olise.
In fact, if Olise stayed, Nusa could benefit from a year of bedding in, with the support of the more senior Frenchman, Nusa could then be ready to take the starting mantle the year after assuming Olise ends up going then instead.
Who is Antonio Nusa?
Nusa is a supremely talented right-sided forward currently plying his trade in Belgium for Club Brugge. Here, his performances have earned him praise such as being compared to Neymar.
Known as ‘one of the most talented wingers around’, Nusa made 46 appearances for Club Brugge in all competitions this season, tallying up four goals and four assists, despite not starting regularly.
Despite his youth, Nusa already has seven international caps and a goal for Norway where he is part of an exciting generation with Oscar Bobb, Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard alongside him.
With a contract until 2027, Brugge stands to make a healthy profit on the £2.5m they spent to sign him from Stabaek, and it could be Palace who gives them that profit.
