Trailing 7-6, Spencer Steer hit a two-run homer, bringing home TJ Friedl, who was hit by a pitch to start the ninth inning.
Steer expressed his excitement, stating that he was determined to make a difference after missing earlier opportunities in the game.
India’s grand slam came with two outs after consecutive singles and a walk loaded the bases, giving the Reds their second grand slam of the season.
Friedl and Jeimer Candelario also contributed with home runs, while Elly De La Cruz recorded three hits, and Fernando Cruz earned the win in relief for Cincinnati, who extended their winning streak to four games.
The Reds scored an impressive total of 29 runs in the three-game series at Coors Field.
Elias Díaz played a significant role for the Rockies, hitting a go-ahead homer in the fifth inning and adding a run-scoring single later in the game. Brendan Rodgers also contributed with three RBIs.
