Over here hootin’ and hollerin’ over the Rangers scoring half a dozen runs.
That’s now two 6 run games in the last three. An average of 5.33333333 runs per game in the past three games. It is an offensive explosion, a veritable cornucopia of runs!

I shouldn’t have said that, actually. I do not like the word cornucopia. I do not like a “horn of plenty.” And really I don’t like the sound of the word “corn” or words that have that sound in them.
And don’t get me started on that shitty nü-metal band.

Way too many pitchers pitched for the Rangers today. Especially given only one run was allowed. It is too many for one game. Please eliminate three. I am not a crackpot.

Really though. I feel overwhelmed by Rangers pitchers today. They are washing over me, pulling me in a pitcher riptide. I’m drowning in Rangers pitchers.
Good job, Dane Dunning. Good on ya. Even if you only went five innings.
Jose Leclerc, Jesus Tinoco, David Carpenter. They all swooped on at some point this afternoon before giving way.
Jacob “Rascal” Latz was given the opportunity to close out the game and finish up a shutout. He allowed a run instead, so no shutout, and ended up getting rescued by Kirby Yates.

See? Too many pitchers. Too many pitchers.
Wyatt Langford had a pair of hits, which was good to see, even though one was a ducksnort. A pair of balls he hit were well over 100 in exit velocity, so hopefully his bat is getting going.
Corey Seager homered, though do we need to even say that at this point? He homers every day. It’s kind of old hat at this point. Mix in a double every now and then.

Dane Dunning maxed out at 91.8 mph with his sinker. Jose Leclerc hit 95.8 mph with his fastball. Jesus Tinoco reached 96.4 mph with his fastball. David Robertson’s cutter touched 94.7 mph. Jacob Latz reached 96.2 mph with his fastball. Kirby Yates had two fastballs, one 91.6 mph and one 92.4 mph.
Wyatt Langford had a 111.9 mph single and a 106.8 mph ground out. Leody Taveras had a 107.7 mph single and a 100.4 mph fly out. Ezequiel Duran had a 105.6 mph double play. Corey Seager had a 101.3 mph ground out.

Lets luxuriate in a day game win before an off day. Over 48 hours of basking in a win.
