Ephron Mason-Clark makes Mark Robins admission in first words on Coventry City arrival.
Latest Coventry City news from CoventryLive brings you what the exciting talent has had to say.
New Coventry City winger Ephron Mason-Clark said joining the club from Peterborough United was a “really easy decision”.
Mason-Clark wrapped up a move to the Sky Blues in January but remained on loan at Posh where he won the EFL Trophy but endured heartache in the League One play-offs.
The winger is now preparing for life in the Championship with Mark Robins’ side and will be hoping to drive them to a Premier League return.
In his first interview with the club since arriving from Posh, the former Barnet ace says the move to Coventry did not take much thinking about after talking to boss Mark Robins.
“For me it was a really easy decision,” he said. “Speaking to the manager, it was something that I wanted to be part of. Seeing how the team plays is something I wanted to join and take my game to the next level.”
Mason-Clark will now enjoy a break before returning for pre-season and he added: “I can’t wait to impress and work hard for the team and not just the fans but my teammates and the staff as well. I really can’t wait to get started.”
