AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (32-17) won 3-2 (BOX SCORE)
Urquidy started for Sugar Land and was pitching well until he had to be pulled to an apparent injury. He ended up allowing 1 run over 3.2 innings. Wagner tied the game at 1 in the 5th inning connecting on a solo HR. Sugar Land went into the bottom of the 9th down 2-1. The offense loaded the bases for Salazar, who came through with a walk-off 2 run single to win it 3-2.
Note: Contreras has a 0.75 ERA this season.

Brown started for the Hooks and was rolling until the 4th when he ran into trouble. He ended up allowing 5 runs over 4 innings. The offense got on the board in the 5th on a Barber RBI single. The bullpen really struggled allowing a combined 12 runs. Sacco added a 2 run HR in the 9th but the Hooks fell 17-4.

Game 1 – won 5-2 (BOX SCORE)
Guedez started game one for Asheville and was solid allowing 2 runs, 1 earned, over 4.1 innings with 5 strikeouts. The offense got on the board in the 5th on a Whittaker RBI single. In the 7th, Asheville took the lead on an Encarnacion 2 run single and Sherwin added some insurance with a 2 run HR. Perez closed it out tossing 2.2 scoreless as Asheville won 5-2.

Urias started game two and went 4 innings allowing 4 runs. The offense got on the board in the 2nd inning getting solo HRs from Encarnacion and Johnson. In the 7th, the offense picked up one run from a Baez single but that would be it as Asheville fell 4-3 in Game 2.

Pena started for the Woodpeckers and went 4 innings allowing 3 runs. The offense got on the board in the 3rd scoring 3 runs on an Ochoa RBI double, Luciano RBI single and Bush RBI double. They got 2 more in the 6th on another Ochoa RBI double and a scored a run on a wild pitch. Santos pitched in relief but struggled allowing 5 runs over 3.1 innings. The offense got one in the 9th on a Hernandez RBI double but that was it as the Woodpeckers fell 8-6.
