the event, as this serves as yet another experience that the first-year players get to be a part of. Sure, Maye’s schedule was probably rather busy, but he did have some time to hang out with a guy who knows how to win, especially in New England.

The New England Patriots shared this photo on social media (courtesy of Michael Rubin) of Maye with NFL legend and future Hall of Famer Tom Brady. It’s another instance in sports where the past meets the future, as Maye hopes to be the next great quarterback to lead the Patriots organization back to greatness.

Brady wasn’t a top-three pick like Maye was, but he does know a thing or two about the organization and the sport of football as a whole. The franchise has changed a bit since his tenure under-center, but there simply isn’t a better person to provide Maye with advice and tips as he prepares to begin his NFL career.

Love him or hate him: Tom Brady has a very, very strong case to be considered the “G.O.A.T” of the sport. The hope is that Brady will take Maye under his wing and share some wisdom with him that could help him develop into a successful NFL quarterback.

Without a doubt, the Patriots hope this captured moment can be a “passing of the torch,” as they believe they’ve found the next great quarterback to lead the franchise back to the dominant form that Brady guided during his time in New England.
