Cleveland Browns 2024 Record Prediction.

The NFL schedule is officially out and Brad Stainbrook predicts the outcome of the Cleveland Browns 2024 season.

CLEVELAND– The 2024 Cleveland Browns schedule is officially out.

The Browns will open the season at Cleveland Browns Stadium on September 8th against the Dallas Cowboys for a 4:25 pm kickoff.

The team will have four prime-time games in 2024 after only having two games under the lights last season.

Cleveland will host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football in week 12, visit the Denver Broncos in week 13 for Monday Night Football, travel to Cincinnati for another Thursday Night Football matchup against the Bengals in week 17, and finally host the Miami Dolphins in Cleveland during week 17 for Sunday Night Football.

2024 will mark the first season Cleveland will have two Thursday Night Football games in one season since the NFL changed the rule which now permits teams to appear on Thursday Night Football multiple times a year. Two Thursday Night Football games within five weeks is something new players will need to adjust to.

While it won’t be at night or on a day other than Sunday, all eyes will also be on Cleveland in week one, when they host the Dallas Cowboys for Fox’s game of the week at 4:25 pm, along with the defending Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs coming to town during week 15 for 1 pm kick.

Cleveland’s longest home stint will be three games in 2024. Starting in week seven against the Cincinnati Bengals, then hosting the Baltimore Ravens, and finally against the Los Angeles Chargers.

After having the earliest bye week possible in 2023, the Browns have a convenient week 10 bye week in 2024. Following the week 10 bye week, Cleveland will travel to New Orleans for a week 11 matchup against the Saints.

Here is my first and last 2024 Cleveland Browns record prediction. Let’s get started:

Week one vs Dallas Cowboys: Win

In the debut of Tom Brady in the booth for Fox, Cleveland will have a tough week one matchup when they host the Dallas Cowboys on September 8th. It’ll mark the first time we see Deshaun Watson since early in the 2023 season, along with his new weapon Jerry Jeudy. Dallas’ Dak Prescott is entering another crucial contract season and will want to start the season off hot. Prescott is the type of quarterback who gave Cleveland issues last season, like CJ Stroud in the playoffs, but defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz will have all offseason long to find a way to contain him. I have Cleveland winning a close one to start the season 1-0.

Week two at Jacksonville Jaguars: Win

Trevor Lawrence was not the same quarterback many were used to seeing in 2023. However, Cleveland will have to contain new additions like defensive end Arik Armstead and wide receiver Gabe Davis. I don’t see Cleveland struggling in this one, and they should be able to start the season 2-0.

Week three vs New York Giants: Win

The Giants drafted wide receiver Malik Nabers with the 6th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft but failed to add more weapons for quarterback Daniel Jones. Three weeks into his new job, Browns offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey will hopefully show he was the right choice for the job. Cleveland was blessed with the start of the schedule and will need to take advantage. Cleveland moves to 3-0.

Week four at Las Vegas Raiders: Win

September 29th will be the first time the Browns ever play in Las Vegas. The Raiders made a splash in free agency by adding defensive lineman Christian Wilkins, and the team also added tight end Brock Bowers in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. The biggest strength Cleveland has over Las Vegas is the quarterback matchup. It’ll either be Gardner Misnhew or Aidan O’Connell starting for the Raiders. I have Cleveland starting the season 4-0.

Week five at Washington Commanders: Win
