Green Bay Packers Announce Signings of 6 2024 NFL Draft Picks; 3 Remain Unsigned.
The Green Bay Packers selected 11 players in the 2024 NFL Draft. The list of these players, of course, is highlighted by offensive tackle Jordan Morgan, whom Green Bay selected with the 25th overall pick in the first round. It is expected that Morgan will compete with 2022 seventh round pick Rasheed Walker for the starting left tackle job.
Last week, Morgan and the other draft picks, as well as undrafted free agents and players that were invited for a tryout, reported to Green Bay for the Packers’ rookie mini camp. These practices provided the players with their first on-field work with their team since the draft.
Unfortunately, one of these undrafted rookies, offensive lineman Trente Jones, decided to retire from football over the weekend. The team, however is loaded with young offensive line talent thanks to the position being one that Brian Gutekunst focused on in this year’s draft.
