The Tennessee Titans are a struggling franchise that has made some drastic changes as of late, with the team unexpectedly parting ways with head coach Mike Vrabel and letting superstar running back Derrick Henry walk in NFL free agency.
These moves seemed to signal the team being ready to go through an extensive rebuilding phase while trying to develop second-year quarterback Will Levis into a legitimate starter and the new face of the franchise moving forward.
Although Levis showed some flashes of brilliance during his rookie campaign, he’s far from a finished product and might not be the answer in the end, but the team seems to have tremendous faith in his potential with the moves they’ve made during this NFL offseason.
Along with re-signing superstar wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, the team brought in Calvin Ridley and recently signed Tyler Boyd, giving the squad one of the most intimidating receiving corps in the NFL.
Another step in the right direction was giving Levis some protection up front, with the team drafting offensive lineman JC Latham as the No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Titans offensive line coach Bill Callahan recently talked about the team’s decision to bring in Latham and what he sees in the rookie left tackle moving forward, via Paul Kuharsky.
