Jets QB Sends Message After Being Released By The Team

As was the case a year ago, the New York Jets are hoping that future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be spry enough to carry them to the top of the AFC.
Rodgers is coming off a torn Achilles tendon he sustained on their first offensive series of last season, and having adequate depth behind him will be one key to a successful season.
Last season, it was Zach Wilson, the No. 2 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, who was slated to be Rodgers’ backup and replaced him after his season-ending injury.
Wilson is now with the Denver Broncos and the Jets’ QB2 is veteran Tyrod Taylor, and they recently made another move by releasing Byron “Peewee” Jarrett, who went undrafted in last month’s NFL Draft.
Jarrett commented on the move on Twitter, and he came from a place of gratitude
