Predicted Hull City team to face QPR as Liam Rosenior makes Liam Delap decision.
Hull City’s penultimate home game of the season sees the Tigers host relegation-threatened QPR
Hull City head coach Liam Rosenior has decisions to make as he looks to revive the home fortunes of his side who have won just once since the turn of the year when they take on QPR on Saturday afternoon.
City made it six games without victory at the MKM Stadium on Wednesday night after being held to a 2-2 draw by Middlesbrough in what was an entertaining end-to-end encounter, but the result damaged the Tigers’ faint hopes of making a late surge for the top six.
The visit of Rangers will see Rosenior without Anass Zaroury after the on-loan Burnley winger picked up a groin problem in training which kept him out of the midweek draw, while skipper Lewie Coyle had to come off ay half-time with the back issue he picked up a Leeds, and which saw him miss last Saturday’s win at Cardiff.
Coyle was replaced by Ryan Giles, himself recovering from a groin issue and didn’t look completely comfortable while Matty Jacob was also struggling, so there is no shortage of walking wounded for the weekend’s must-win encounter with the Rs. Rosenior has hinted at players being unavailable but stopped short of revealing who they were.
The good news, however, is that striker Liam Delap is back and will be involved, though that’s not expected to be from the start. Delap hasn’t played since the New Year’s Day defeat to Sheffield Wednesday, but his return has been a welcome boost to City and he’ll likely be seen off the bench.
