Arizona Cardinals to Meet With Two Game Changing Prospects.
While we move closer to the 2024 NFL Draft, teams can begin conducting pre-draft visits. In this stage of the draft process, NFL teams can bring in up to 30 prospects to their team facility for meetings with coaches, medical examinations, and a tour of the team’s building. With teams only being able to bring in up to 30 prospects this gives us a more clear picture of who teams are targeting.
This week, the Arizona Cardinals scheduled meetings with two of the top wide receiver prospects in Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr and LSU’s Malik Nabers. With the fourth pick in the draft, the Cardinals are in prime position to select one of the top receiver prospects and are in much need of a playmaker.
Arizona Cardinals to Host Marvin Harrison Jr
The prospect that the Arizona Cardinals have been connected to the most has been superstar wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr out of Ohio State. After a Heisman-caliber season and sensational career for the Buckeyes, it’s hard not to get excited about adding Harrison Jr to your squad. Harrison Jr’s NFL ties also run deep as he is the son of NFL Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison Sr.
The Cardinals are in dire need of a big physical playmaker for quarterback Kyler Murray and Harrison Jr certainly fits that bill. Measuring in at 6’4 and 205 pounds, while also possessing great jumping ability and speed, Harrison Jr is unguardable. A key area scouts focus on for prospects projected to be drafted early is whether or not they can make an impact right away, and with the recent track record of Ohio State receivers, like Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave, the Cardinals will not have to worry.
