EXCLUSIVE: “I’m Not Worried About Another Man Coming In” Dolphins RB1, Raheem Mostert, Discusses His Dedication To “Perfecting His Craft” And The Importance Of Cutting Out The “Noise”
The Pro Bowl running back of the Miami Dolphins, Raheem Mostert, has reportedly shared his thoughts on achievements as a team and responsibilities.
The Pro Bowl running back of the Dolphins has shed light on how his focus is unwavering considering the new additions the league undergoes and according to Sportskeeda in an exclusive interview, he mentioned, “I focus on the things I can control. I’m not worried about another man coming in. I’m worried about perfecting my craft.”
The Purdue running back was undrafted in 2015 and joined the Philadelphia Eagles squad when he was an undrafted free agent. He briefly spent time with the Eagles, Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, and Chicago Bears.
In 2016, he joined the San Francisco 49ers and in December, he was included in the active lineup. The running back participated in the season-final game, which was against the Seattle Seahawks. In 2017, he was placed on injured reserve and played in eleven games.
According to the Miami Dolphins, the running back posted 6 carries for 30 yards, five kickoff returns for 83 yards and eight individual special teams tackles. In 2018, he played in nine games and saw increased action on field as well. He sustained a fracture in the forearm and was placed in injured reserve in November.
Mostert registered 34 carries for 261 yards, and 6 receptions for 25 yards, including six solo special teams tackles. He played with the 49ers from 2016 to 2021. He then joined the Dolphins squad in 2022.
In the 2022 season with the Dolphins he played in 16 games and started 14 of them. He remained inactive for one game and posted 181 carries for 891 yards and three touchdowns. He had 31 receptions for 202 yards and two touchdowns. The NFL rushing touchdowns leader of 2023 was selected for the Pro Bowl for the first time in the last campaign.
