Everton Training Session

Sean Dyche must ditch £30m star to reignite ‘underperforming’ Everton player vs Bournemouth.

Everton are back in Premier League action again tomorrow, but face a deceptively tough task as they travel to face AFC Bournemouth.

It is worth noting, this is far from the same side that came to Goodison Park many months ago and was turned over with ease.

Andoni Iraola knew what style of football he wanted to achieve back then, but was yet to get his instructions across to the players. Now, they are fighting for everything.

So, Sean Dyche will have to make sure that his side is up for the challenge, with their recent three-week break from football sure to have re-energised the squad.

However, his most important decision will be deciding who to play up front, as it is a problem area that has persisted throughout the season.

Sean Dyche must start Dominic Calvert-Lewin vs Bournemouth

In my opinion, Dominic Calvert-Lewin is worth one last punt up front against a side like the Cherries.

After all, Everton are unlikely to see much of the ball, and will be harassed relentlessly whenever they do.

The Toffees will need an out ball, and there are few in the Premier League as proficient as the 27-year-old in this regard.

Whilst his goalscoring may have deserted him for now, when compared to other strikers across Europe he sits in the top 6% for aerials won per 90.

A constant threat who has been lacking in confidence, one thing that Bournemouth will afford Everton is chances. They will just hope to outscore them
