Nottingham Forest in talks to join Leicester City in ‘war’ against Premier League – sources
Nottingham Forest senior figures will hold internal talks about joining Leicester City in a legal battle against the Premier League, sources have told Football Insider.
The Foxes have opened legal proceedings against the Premier League and EFL after being charged with an alleged breach of Profit and Sustainability Rules last week.
Forest faced a similar charge this season for exceeding their allowable losses over a three-year period by £34.5million.
They were deducted four points following a hearing with an independent commission but announced on Monday (25 March) that they have appealed the decision.

Forest’s appeal verdict will not be delivered until after the end of the 2023-24 season.
As revealed by Football Insider, Nottingham Forest could now be forced to sell five of their “best players” whether they are relegated from the Premier League or not.
Sources have told Football Insider that senior figures at Forest will discuss joining Leicester after they “waged war” against the Premier League.
Leicester have already been placed under a registration embargo by the EFL and face a potential points deduction next season if they are promoted.
