Ryan Clark Sends Clear Message To The Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys are playing the waiting game with Dak Prescott.
Once again, Jerry Jones is doing the exact opposite of what most people thought and expected him to do.
Most analysts and fans thought they were a lock to sign Prescott to a contract extension.
Instead, they’re reportedly in no rush to get a deal done, and he’s now expected to play under his current contract next season.
With that in mind, former NFL star Ryan Clark had a somewhat bizarre analogy about this matter.
Talking on ESPN’s Get Up, he compared finding a good quarterback with a wife, adding that one doesn’t just let his wife go on The Bachelorette.
“When you get that quarterback and you lock into that marriage … you are never going to sit at home and one day tell your person, ‘You can go be on the Bachelorette,’” Clark said.
All jokes aside, this makes perfect sense.
Clark claimed that Jones is pretty much telling Prescott that he can test the field in the offseason.
Truth be told, having Prescott making north of $60 million might not be worth it, but that’s just what it is in today’s market, so they’ll have to deal with that
