Wolverhampton Wanderers v Fulham FC - Premier League

Five players who may have already played their final game for Wolves, including ‘incredible’ star

Gary O’Neil is fully focused on guiding Wolves into Europe this season, however, he also needs to resolve the future of several players in his squad.

Wolves are perfectly poised to finish in a European place this season. Just three points separate them from seventh-place West Ham.

Gary O’Neil is pouring his full focus into achieving that goal, especially after being knocked out of the FA Cup quarter-finals by Coventry.

Once the season does draw to a close, which will hopefully see the Wanderers plying their trade in European competition, O’Neil must resolve the futures of several first-team stars.

Here are five players who may have played their final game for Wolves…

Luke Cundle

A product of the Wolves academy, midfielder Luke Cundle has struggled to stake a regular claim in the first-team at Molineux, making just seven appearances.

Only four of those came in the Premier League, with the 21-year-old enjoying his football away from Wolves.

After starring at Swansea City last season, Cundle spent the first half of this campaign on loan at Plymouth Argyle before joining Stoke City in January.

It is likely his 10-year association with the Wanderers will sadly end this summer as several Championship clubs want him permanently.
