Wolves v Coventry City FA Cup injury news as six key players ruled out and 3 doubtful but unfortunately…
Wolves host Coventry City at Molineux at lunch-time on Sunday in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
The two sides meet for the first time since April 2014 when both clubs were plying their trade in League One. Wolves are on the hunt for their first win against Coventry since October 2008.
Both team’s claimed victory in their previous fixture. Gary O’Neil’s side won 2-1 against Fulham with Rayan Ait-Nouri on target and the hosts profiting from an own goal from Tom Cairney. Coventry won against West Brom with Haji Wright scoring in either half for the Sky Blues, and that result brought to an end the reign of former West Brom boss’ Valerien Ismael at Vicarage Road.

Wolves team news
If Wolves are to reach Wembley then they will have to do it without Pedro Neto. Neto was forced off with an apparent hamstring injury in their win against Fulham last weekend having pulled up when he was running for the ball.
Neto wasn’t the only player that had to be withdrawn against the Cottagers with Jeanricner Bellegarde also forced off with a suspected knee complaint. He lasted just 10 minutes and replaced by Tommy Doyle, and now the injuries are beginning to pile up.
Hwang Hee-Chan is to miss around six weeks of action after suffering a hamstring injury. He picked up an injury in the previous round against Brighton and won’t return until mid-April.
Matheus Cunha was already sidelined with a hamstring injury and Gary O’Neil has given him an outside chance of playing. “I haven’t ruled him out of the Coventry game,” O’Neil said to the Express & Star.
“He won’t let me, firstly, and secondly I don’t want to. There is a chance, with how well he’s going, that he could be involved against Coventry.”
Craig Dawson was absent at the weekend after O’Neil had revealed that he had a sore groin. Dawson was ‘desperate’ to play but he’ll need to be assessed having not played against Fulham.
