Agreement in place: Leeds United will sell another loaned-out player to top-flight club – Report

Leeds United are set to sell Max Wöber to Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer once his loan concludes, reports from Germany claim.

The Whites were rocked in the summer by multiple loan clauses emerging in players’ contracts, allowing them to leave the club on a temporary basis with the 49ers and Daniel Farke powerless to stop it.

A lot of them have been underwhelming since moving away from Elland Road, but permanent deals are expected to be sought for some, after we’ve already seen Robin Koch and Luis Sinisterra pen permanent deals at their respective loan clubs.

Max Wöber heading to Borussia Monchengladbach permanently

A report from German outlet Gladbach Live is claiming that Max Wöber’s future at Borussia Monchengladbach is already wrapped up.

He has seemingly been impressive for the Bundesliga side since moving from the club in July, despite their woeful defensive record of late after ditching Farke in the off-season.

The report states that it is already set out and agreed that Wöber will be joining them permanently at the end of the season:

Wöber was one of the departures that went down worse than most due to reportedly telling Farke he wished to stay at the club and fight for promotion, only to jump ship the moment a club came calling.

Since then, he’s been a regular at his new club, but hasn’t been able to get out of the habit of conceding goals on a regular basis.
