Hull City loan duo Tyler Morton and Fabio Carvalho’s success on Humberside has left Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp thoroughly pleased.

Hull City seem to have struck up a good link with Liverpool. After recruiting midfielder Morton in the summer transfer window, the Premier League side sent Carvalho to Humberside on loan too.

There was some high-profile interest in the latter, making for a real statement signing for the Tigers. Like his Liverpool teammate, the Portuguese prospect has settled well with Liam Rosenior’s side and looks to be back playing some of his best football.

With Morton having enjoyed such a successful season with Hull City, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Liverpool trust the Championship side with more top talents in the future. They’ve done so with Carvalho and after three goals in eight games, the decision looks to be paying off.

The Tigers will be keen to maintain a fruitful relationship with the Anfield outfit moving forward, even with Klopp leaving in the summer.

For now though, Rosenior will be doing all he can to get the best out of his Liverpool loanees. Both players look to be talents destined for a future at a higher level but it won’t be forgotten how important their Hull City spells have been for their development – and especially in Carvalho’s case, his confidence.

The Tigers sit 6th in the Championship table as it stands, three points clear of the chasing pack as the play-off fight hots up.
