Photo… Two players have just returned to Nottingham Forest today
It would seem as though Ibrahim Sangare and Willy Boly have both returned to Nottingham Forest today.
The pair have been off winning the African Cup of Nations with the Ivory Coast – but now they’re both back on Trentside.
Both players have been snapped in a photo today after they reported for duty at the Forest training facility.
Ibrahim Sangare and Willy Boly return to Nottingham Forest
Well, this is very big news and the Forest squad welcomed the duo back with open arms earlier today.
The Ivory Coast flags were on display as the two players were snapped with their teammates after a hero’s welcome back to training.
The host nation defeated Ola Aina and Nigeria in the final, despite almost being knocked out at the group stages.
Sangare and Boly have been missed whilst they’ve been away at the AFCON and Nuno Espirito Santo will be pleased to see them both.
The video was shared on the club’s official social media channels earlier and the pair were given a warm welcome back.
Now, it will be a case of full steam ahead to Saturday as Forest face Aston Villa – with Boly and Sangare likely to be in contention.
Sangare and Boly will both play their part
In truth, both players should return pretty refreshed given that both players hardly played.
Sangare did get on for a late cameo in the final and caught the eye by winning four headers.
However, it proved a successful tournament from a Forest perspective, with the duo avoiding injuries.
Sangare and Boly will definitely have parts to play between now and the end of the campaign.
Nuno Espirito Santo prides himself on defensive solidity and the pair will have an integral part to play in the final months of the campaign.
