Wolves have confirmed that striker Sasa Kalajdzic will be undergoing surgery later this week, after he suffered another ACL injury.
The 26-year-old went down in the opening stages of Eintracht Frankfurt’s Bundesliga match with SC Freiburg on Sunday, and was withdrawn after just 11 minutes.
Kalajdzic immediately clutched his knee, sparking real concerns.
Just a day later, Eintracht confirmed worst fears that Kalajdzic had suffered damage to his cruciate ligament. It is the third serious knee injury of his career.

Kalajdzic is now looking at another lengthy spell on the sidelines following his latest setback.
The knee injuries he had at Stuttgart and Wolves put him out for 10 and 12 months respectively, so this new injury could mean a similar lay-off.
Wolves have today addressed the injury to Kalajdzic, writing a message across their social media channels.
The club have stated that Kalajdzic will be undergoing surgery later this week. It is unclear whether this will be in Germany or England.
When Kalajdzic suffered his last knee injury for Wolves, he was looked after by surgeon Dr. Andy Williams at the Cromwell Hospital in London (via The Athletic).
