NY Jets news: Breece Hall harassed, Jets coach joins Patriots, David Bakhtiari trade
NY Jets running back Breece Hall is just trying to enjoy his offseason. Unfortunately, some belligerent and entitled fans seemingly don’t care.
Hall got into an altercation with a fan at Newark International Airport last Sunday, and New York Giants legend Carl Banks was forced to step in and defuse the situation. It’s unclear exactly what prompted the argument, but it seems to stem from an unruly fan demanding an autograph from the star running back.
Hall took to social media on Monday to clear the air, claiming the fan was “harassing” him at the baggage claim. Multiple Jets players later tweeted out in support of their teammate.
Credit to Hall for remaining remarkably calm in the situation and credit to Banks for standing up for his younger peer. A message to any fan searching for an autograph: don’t harass players in public.

Jets coach leaves to join Patriots
The Jets have made a few minor changes to their coaching staff this offseason, and one of those included the team parting ways with running backs coach Taylor Embree. It didn’t take long for Embree to find a new home.
The former Jets assistant was officially named the new running backs coach of the New England Patriots on Monday, allowing Embree to remain in the AFC East and coach for his former team’s biggest rival.
Embree spent three years with the Jets, joining Robert Saleh’s staff for his first year in 2021. He helped oversee the development of Breece Hall, who finished fourth in the NFL in scrimmage yards last season.
The Jets hired former Tennessee Titans assistant coach Tony Dews to fill Embree’s role in 2024. Bill Belichick may be gone, but there will still be a former Jets coach coaching in New England next season
