Club Set To ‘Take Action’ On Nottingham Forest Out On Loan Star

Besiktas are planning to ‘take action’ on Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall after being hugely pleased with his start to life in Istanbul.

The 27-year-old centre-back was frozen out of the first team picture at Nottingham Forest and the club were looking to offload him in the winter window.

Leeds United and Sheffield United showed interest in signing Worrall during the January transfer window, but a move failed to materialise.

Besiktas stepped in and with the Turkish window still open took Worrall to the club on a loan deal.

The centre-back has featured twice for Besiktas since joining and has impressed coach Fernando Santos.

According to Turkish outlet Fotomac (via A Spor), Besiktas are now planning to take action on Worrall.

The Black Eagles are to move to try to lock down the Forest defender on a permanent basis.

Besiktas do have an option to keep Worrall permanently, but it remains to be seen if they will look to pay it or negotiate a lower fee.
