Wolves were hit with a serious blow during Saturday afternoon’s 2-0 loss to Brentford.

Speaking with the press after the game – with the quotes relayed by journalist Nathan Judah – O’Neil gave a six-word verdict on how Cunha is feeling about his injury.

He said: “He doesn’t think it’s too bad,” which will leave Wolves fans delighted to have avoided what would’ve been such a massive blow.

O’Neil also explained what injury Cunha might have as he mentioned the Brazilian felt ‘something in his hamstring’. He affirmed however that the club will now look at getting scans back before making a diagnosis on how bad it is.

Losing Cunha would be a massive blow for Wolves, but it’s not all bad as he also confirmed that one man is in line to return.

He told the press, “Hwang will be available next weekend”.

This will be a massive factor for Wolves with his absence being felt as he spent January at the Asian Cup with South Korea.

However, in his absence, Cunha stepped up and now Hwang may need to return the favour.
