The Red Dragons fought their way back into the EFL last campaign in a barn-storming National League campaign, recording 111 points as they pipped rivals Notts County to the only automatic promotion place.

Phil Parkinson’s outfit are now fighting for third-tier football next season and find themselves closing in on the top three heading into the second half of the season.

One player who will be instrumental to their promotion chances is forward Paul Mullin, who registered 38 strikes in the National League last season and has already reached double figures for goals in League Two this campaign.

The 29-year-old will be hoping he can maintain such a regular streak of goalscoring in order to give Wrexham every chance of success for the rest of this term.

Here at Football League World, we summarise Paul Mullin’s future at Wrexham, his weekly wage at the club and current contract situation.

After finding the back of the net on such a consistent basis, there will naturally be many clubs considering a move for Mullin in the short-term future.

Currently, no clubs have officially registered their interest in the Merseyside-born forward, but outfits from higher divisions may have the pulling power to prize away Wrexham’s most important asset.

As reported by Goal.com at the end of January, former Wrexham striker Lee Trundle believes Mullin could be targeted by clubs from the Championship in the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to Goal.com, the frontman is rumoured to be earning around £4,500 per week, with the weekly wage equating to approximately £235,000 a year.

This figure was boosted last season when the Wrexham owners paid players a generous promotion bonus, with a sum of around £250,000 shared among the Dragons’ squad.
