Ahmad ‘Sauce’ Gardner Hoping Jets Add Bengals Star Receiver Tee Higgins
CINCINNATI — Jets cornerback Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner is hoping to see another big time wide receiver join the team this offseason.
The former Bearcats star believes the Jets should make a run at Tee Higgins and Calvin Ridley in free agency.
Higgins probably won’t make it to the free agent market, but this comment is noteworthy because it shows the respect the 25-year-old has around the league.
Higgins had five catches for 93 yards in a 27-12 win over the Jets in Week 3 of the 2022 season.
Would the Jets be willing to trade for the Bengals star?
That’s an interesting question and it’s probably the only way he ends up in New York this offseason.
