Police: Teen arrested for stabbing another teen at Lincoln City Outlet Mall

LINCOLN CITY, Ore. (KPTV) – A teenager was arrested for stabbing another teen at the Lincoln City Outlet Mall on Friday, according to police.

At about 8:10 p.m., on Jan. 19, officers responded to a disturbance and stabbing at the mall property, located at 1500 Southeast East Devils Lake Road. The mall was closed at the time.

Officers arrived and found a teenage boy who was suffering from stab wounds. The victim was taken to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital for treatment.

During the investigation, police say the suspect and a teenage girl, who was also involved in the incident, were found nearby. The teenage girl was injured and taken to an area hospital.

The suspect, a teenage boy whose name is not being released, was booked into the Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center for first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, and reckless endangering.

The investigation is ongoing, and police say more charges may be filed.
