Hull City have ‘no problem’ over agreement for signing – Now down to player to decide

That’s according to journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, who says it is up to the player whether he wants to make the move.

Kent only moved to Turkey in the summer when his contract at Rangers came to an end, but he’s not settled with Fenerbahce, failing to establish himself and managing seven appearances in the league so far.

That’s led to speculation that he wants out and could return to England, where he started his career with Liverpool and had loan spells with Coventry, Barnsley and Bristol City before heading to Rangers.

Hull City have been named as an option for him, with them regularly doing business in Turkey in recent years.

Sabuncuoğlu now reports that they have some sort of go-ahead from Fenerbahce to sign Kent and there is ‘no problem’ between the two sides on that front.

It seems the former Rangers man, though, is ‘not convinced yet’ on the move to Hull City and wants more time to think about things before making a decision.

Why he’s hesitating isn’t made clear, but it seems he’s not overly enthusiastic about Hull City, and they may need to start the charm offensive to get this one over the line.
