The Dallas Cowboys are getting ready for a huge matchup on Sunday against the Washington Commanders. A win in Washington would mean Dallas takes the NFC East and locks up the #2 seed in the NFC. Dallas is coming off a controversial 20-19 win over the Detroit Lions.
Ahead of Sunday’s matchup, the Cowboys decided to make a move at the wide receiver position.

After playing 44 games for the Steelers and Raiders from 2014-2018, Bryant was out of football for nearly five years before joining the Cowboys’ practice squad on Nov. 8.
Despite his 17 career touchdowns and 6-4 frame, the Cowboys never elevated him for game day, despite his unique skill set.
Tyron Billy-Johnson and Bryant were the only receivers to be cut from the practice squad on Thursday. The practice squad still has Jalen Cropper and Racey McMath as receivers.
The move comes as a bit of a shock as Bryant was never even given a shot to compete in a game. Throughout his career Bryant has averaged nearly 550 yards per season and just over four touchdowns per season.
