Both teams have been flying high throughout the year but the 49ers are going to be missing a few pieces on the defense as they get ready for Monday Night. “49ers ruled out DT Arik Armstead (foot, knee), LB Oren Burks (knee), TE Ross Dwelley (ankle) and WR Jauan Jennings (concussion) for Monday night’s matchup vs. the Ravens.”

The most notable of the injuries would be Armstead, as he has been a pivotal player to the 49ers stout defense all year. He would especially helpful for a game like this against Baltimore as they look to try any stop Lamar Jackson and the high flying Ravens offense. Oren Burks is out as well for their defense making them quite depleted on that side of the ball against one of the best offensive teams in the league.

On the 49ers Injury report, Nick Bosa is mentioned as well although the rumor is that he is going to play in this huge matchup. However, If for whatever reason Bosa isn’t able to suit up, San Francisco will be faced with a very tall task of stopping one of the best offenses in the league. Many have already shared their views on X that the 49ers are going to get routed because of their injuries.

Nick Bosa is not only one of the best players on the stacked San Francisco roster, but also one of the best defensive players in the NFL. With Armstead already rules out Bosa will need a huge game if the 49ers will look to get arguably their most impressive win of the year against the Ravens.

Bosa should be suiting up for the huge game but San Francisco will be without a few of their defensive starters and the Ravens should look to target those backups that will be in. Interestingly enough, San Francisco is still favored in the Monday night matchup against the Ravens, but Lamar Jackson isn’t worried as he was interviewed a few days ago after practice. Lamar was quoted saying: “I’m cool, I don’t want them to pick us. I like being the underdog. I believe we play better when we’re doubted and [when] people aren’t choosing us to win the game.”

Arik Armstead, San Francisco 49ers

Lamar might be right, they have seemed to play better when the odds’ makers have doubted them, but this will be their toughest test yet even without Armstead and Burks. Will this be a Super Bowl preview? We will have to wait and see, but this is sure to be one of the best regular season games of the year. 49ers ruled out DT Arik Armstead (foot, knee), LB Oren Burks (knee), TE Ross Dwelley (ankle) and WR Jauan Jennings (concussion) for Monday night’s matchup vs. the Ravens.
