Cardinals promote WR Dan Chisena, Kaden Davis to active roster
With WR Marquise Brown (heel) ruled out and Greg Dortch (shoulder) questionable for their game against the Chicago Bears tomorrow, the Arizona Cardinals have called up two receivers from their practice squad.
According to Cardinals senior writer Darren Urban, Dan Chisena and Kaden Davis have been added to Arizona’s active roster.
For Chisena, this is his second promotion to the Cardinals main roster following him joining them in Pittsburgh on Dec. 3.
Against the Steelers, Chisena played, but did not record a statistical marker in Arizona’s 24-10 win.
Upon joining the Cardianls, Chisena would play in three seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. Even though Chisena is a receiver, he has 11 tackles in his NFL career, with no offensive numbers.
In contrast, Davis has yet to make his NFL debut, having spent time on the Denver Broncos’ practice squad.
Following his release from the Broncos in 2022, however, Davis took an alternative route to continue playing football, joining the Michigan Panthers in the USFL.
There, Davis amassed 83 receiving yards, 333 returning yards, two touchdowns and 416 total yards in five games.
It is unknown if either Chisena or Davis will receive any touches tomorrow with the possibility of Dortch featuring still open
