Bengals game will be worst as they battle with two pitchers sidelined…

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase suffered a concerning injury late in the team’s comeback win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Chase went to the locker room late in Saturday’s game with what the team called a shoulder injury. He was officially listed as questionable to return, but he never did, even after the game went into overtime.

The Bengals gave few clues after the game, but Chase was spotted in street clothes during the overtime period.

Chase had four catches for 64 yards prior to leaving the game.

The Bengals have had pretty awful luck with injuries all season, but are still 8-6 and on the fringes of the AFC playoff race. Still, they cannot afford an injury to Chase that causes him to miss any time given how short-handed they already are.

There are many people around the NFL who believe it is a foregone conclusion that the New England Patriots will part ways with Bill Belichick at the end of the season, but that decision reportedly has not been made.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Patriots owner Robert Kraft “has not come to a firm conclusion” on whether he will try to bring Belichick back in 2024. Kraft wants to see how the team finishes over the final four games, and Rapoport notes that the 82-year-old could even take some time after the season ends to assess the situation.

Longtime Patriots reporter Tom E. Curran suggested on Monday that Kraft decided this would be Belichick’s last season after New England lost 10-6 to the Indianapolis Colts in Germany, which was in Week 10. The Pats have gone 1-2 since then, but the victory came last week on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Patriots host the Kansas City Chiefs at Gillette Stadium on Sunday. If they find a way to win that game, Kraft could at least draw the conclusion that Belichick has not lost the locker room. That may factor into Kraft’s decision on whether he wants Belichick back.

If Belichick and the Patriots do part ways and the 71-year-old wants to keep coaching, there is one team that many people feel would make sense for him.

The Detroit Lions tried to mess with Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson even before kickoff Saturday at Ford Field in Detroit, Mich.

The dome blasted songs by rapper Future as the two teams warmed up for the final game of Saturday’s NFL tripleheader.

Wilson has famously beefed with Future over the years. The Broncos QB is married to Future’s ex-fiancee Ciara.

The Future playlist continued to play for about half an hour. In case there was any doubt that it was a troll job, the stadium music changed to songs from a different artist the moment Wilson stepped off the field.

Coincidentally or not, the Broncos offense seemed to fall into a Future-induced coma during the first half against the Lions. Detroit outscored Denver 21-0 after 2 quarters and went on to win 42-17 over the visitors.

Wilson went 18/32 for 223 yards and 1 touchdown in the loss.

Perhaps other teams might want to employ a similar tactic against the 9-time Pro Bowler in the Future.
